Message in a Bottle Scrapbook Page (Stamp Club To Go)

Hello everybody! Today, I want to show you this month's Stamp Club to Go Scrapbook page and alternate card. I am in love with them!!

I wanted to go with something beach so I grabbed the Message In A Bottle and So Many Shells stamp sets and got started!  I started with the DSP: Naturally Eclectic DSP. I used the colors in the DSP as my base- Emerald Envy, Night of Navy, Soft Sky, Lemon Lime Twist and Peekaboo Peach.

First, I made the little octopus in the bottle. I used an aqua painter to add the Soft Sky water below him and to add some splatter. I cut him out with a Stitched Circle Framelit and added a a Pool Party Twine bow. More about those hearts in a minute!

Next, I made this embellishment. I made the Emerald Envy piece first using the Marbled Background stamp (emerald Envy ink on Emerald Envy Cardstock.) I cut out a Night of Navy heart and a soft sky diamond (Eclectic Layers) and finally a Lemon Lime coral piece- It's actually the branch from the Seasonal Layers Framelits! The boat is from the Message in a Bottle and the sentiment is from So Many Shells. I went back and cut out some hearts from the left over Emerald Envy marbled piece to add around the other embellishment.

For my non scrapbooking customers, I offer an alternate card. I try to use all the same products for the card. Don't you love a card with lots of layers? I sure do!

And here they are together! So cute if I do say so myself!! ;-)

Watts of Occasions Thank You Tags

Good morning! I want to share another fun Watts of Occasions project with you today. It seems to be my "go to" stamp set lately! I used it to make some thank you tags last month for everyone who participated in my ribbon and paper share.

There are many different ways you can color this stamp. Here, I chose to use an Aquapainter and Daffodil Delight ink. I made sure to make the color darker on the bottom and go lighter as I went to the top of the bulb. You could also use a marker, a blender pen, you could stamp on colored paper and cut the light bulb out. Lot's of choices!

I actually stamped it on Shimmer White Cardstock and cut it out with a Stitched Circle Framelit. I then mounted it on a Daffodil Delight Scalloped Circle. I stapled them on to a package of twine which I threw in s a thank you gift. Lastly, I added a twine bow! I really enjoy making thank you tags. They are faster than cards and still look just as cute. You can see the Watts of Occasions stamp set here and don't forget- I am offering the Watts of Occasions class to go as well!

Hello from Thailand! (And my Watts of Occasions Swap!)

Hello from Phuket Thailand! I have to start off by saying I was VERY hesitant about this trip! I'm a nervous traveler by nature and this is a VERY long way from home. But, my hubby convinced me it was one we couldn't miss and I am SO glad he did. It truly is gorgeous!!!

We've been here about 36 hours and have been soaking up the best this report has to offer. Make sure to follow my  Facebook and Instagram! I will be sharing lots of pictures over there!

Today is our actual first official day with Stampin' Up and we are heading to the "General Session" in just a bit, One of the perks of being here is that we get to see the upcoming Holiday Catalog!! So, can you just imagine- so many layers of excitement felt by everyone here!! LOL!

Quickly, I wanted to share my official swap. We will turn them in today and they SU employees will sort them back out for us in a day or two. I used my favorite Watts of Occasions- I love this set! I also used the Stitched Shapes Thinlits, the Starburst Punch, the Polka Dot Basics Embossing Folder, Glitter Enamel Dots and Whole Lotta Lovely DSP. The colors are Melon Mambo, Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight and Basic Black. Oh- and that heart is a die cut- I added it to the bulb that actually has a Christmas tree on it!! I just like that bulb the best but didn't want the tree so I altered it! LOL!

OK, I am off to enjoy our day! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to join me over on Facebook and Instagram!
