Quick and Easy Halloween: Graveyard Gate

Good morning everyone! Today, I have a quick and easy Halloween solution. As you know, I send a small treat in each of my Class To Go kits. This was one I did recently and it was pretty quick.

I really love to make tags. When you make a pretty tag, it really doesn't matter what you attach it to. The tag will make it feel fancy! These are attached to small Halloween sized jelly bellys. You could attach them to any kind of candy.

When making a bunch of tags, I have a couple of tips. Prepare each part all at one time. So, here, I cut all the Basic Grey squares and then I stamped them all with the gate and the bird. Then, I cut all the Fresh Fig Scallop Squares. Then all the pumpkins. Then I stamped all the sentiments and then tied all the bows.I throw them in a basket and wait until the evening.  Then, I sit down in front of the TV with my family and assemble! It goes quickly when you do it like this! I like to keep my hands busy when I watch TV!

I simply stapled them on. Another great way to attach them is with a Stampin' Dimensional. So cute (and pretty easy!!)

Stamps: Graveyard Gate
Ink: Basic Black, Smokey Slate
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Fresh Fig, Whisper White, Basic Grey Cardstock
Tools: Big Shot, Pick a Pumpkin Framelits, Layered Squares Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Stapler
Embellishments: Basic Black Baker's Twine

Facebook Friday Oct. 20- Seasonal Lantern

Hello everyone! I hope you were able to join me on my Facebook Group today for Facebook Friday! If not, don't worry, I will upload the recording here (hopefully) this weekend! You can also hop over to my Facebook Group and watch it immediately.

Today, I chose to focus on one of my favorite bundles in the Holiday Catalog- Seasonal Lantern. I really don't think this bundle is getting the attention it deserves! It's so fun and so beautiful and so versatile!! You can use it for every season!

But, with the holidays coming, I choose to focus on Christmas! We're all thinking about it, right? It weighs heavy on my as October ticks by. Christmas is a LOT of work for a Mama!!

The first project is a little over the top! This set can really have lots and LOTS of layers if you want it to!

For the second project, I showed how this set can be a little simpler. This is a great option when you have to make a lot of them.

And lastly, a 3D project. I saw a real lantern on Pinterest that was full of candy cane ornaments and was inspired to create a Peppermint Box using our Pizza Boxes!

Edited to add recording:

I will send you all three make and takes next week if you put in a minimum $30 order.

Stamp Club Scrapbook Page- Painted Autumn and Count My Blessings

Hello everyone! Today's project is this months Stamp Club To Go Scrapbook Page and alternate card. I focused on Fall for this month's page.

As you can see, the Painted Autumn DSP (on sale!) is the star of this project. I only stamped the sentiment from Count Your Blessings, a leaf from Vintage Leaves and the basket from Basket of Wishes. Another thing I really wanted to incorporate is the Embossing Paste. I used the Peek a Boo Peach ink refill to color it the same as the cardstock and used the Pattern Party Decorative Mask to create some texture. Lastly, I use the Chalk Pen to add some faux stitching.

I always design a card as an alternate project for my members who aren't scrapbookers. Here they are together.

Those pumpkins are so cute! I hand cut those as well as the stamped basket to create the little scene. Look at that Embossing Paste! I love it! I haven't used it enough... It just adds so much to a project.

I added the sentiment on the inside of the card.

And here you can see the full card. That paper. I tell ya, it's one of my all time favs! It's part of the Buy 3 Get 1 Free this month!!

I have a new club coming together that will start November 1st and run through April. It will include the Holiday Catalog, the Occasions Catalog AND all of Sale A Bration! You can read the full details on my Stamp Club to Go Program here If you'd like to join or have questions, shoot me an email!

Have a great day! Don't forget- Facebook Friday tomorrow at 2:00 CST! I'll post here after that.

Merry Cafe

Hello everyone! I hope you had a nice weekend. Today I am sharing this month's Stamp Club to Go card. I am moving my focus towards Christmas more and more each day and this month's Stamp Club card is just the beginning of the holiday card designs coming your way here on my blog!

I really couldn't wait to get my hands on the Merry Cafe set. It isn't just for Christmas, it has sentiments and decorations for all the fun things that happen in the fall too.

I used two different Designer Series paper packs for this- Wood textures and Quilted Christmas. They go well don't they? now not every car dis identical, because not all the paper is identical in the packs. But, they mixed well no matter which print I used. As you can see here, two different looks although the products I used are identical.

The top of the cup was cut from vellum. It creates a fun realistic "frosty plastic lid" for our frap, don't you think? I added some pine boughs cut with the framelits form the Christmas Stair Case set. Also, I added some coffee splatters by dipping my Aqua Painter in Crumb Cake ink and flicking it all over my white card basses.

Have you played with the Merry Cafe yet? It's a good one- you need it!! Especially if you already for that Coffee Cafe set and the Coffee Cup Framelits! It's a great addition to your coffee collection!

Facebook Friday- Spooky Cat, Colorful Seasons and This Little Piggy

Hello my friends!! Today is Friday and that means a new Facebook Live! If you didn't catch it live, you can check the replay on my Facebook Group page and later this weekend, I will get the recording uploaded here (hopefully!)

Today I have three projects, kind of a hodgepodge of things.
I usually try to make them all "go together" but today, they don't! LOL!
First, we have a Halloween treat. Inside are little Jelly Belly Candy Corn Fun Packs.

Next is a Fall treat bag. A great way to use your DSP. Don't hoard it- cut it and USE it!!
Remember, we have Designer Series Paper Sale right now. Buy three, get one free! Yes, you CAN mix and match!

Lastly, I showed a little demo of our Stampin' Blends with the This Little Piggy stamp set. While these markers aren't available to order quite yet, if you REALLY want them, and you REALLY want a good deal on them, you can get them in the Starter Kit. SUNDAY is the last day for this offer. Stampin' Up has not told us when they will be available for everyone.

Update: You can see the recording of my live video here!

Video Direct Link: https://youtu.be/Rpr2GRO2hys

It includes the product list and dimensions.

If you'd like to place a Stampin' Up order this weekend, make sure to use the Hostess Code F4ZZJZ9F attached to this event.
I am sending the three make and takes to everyone who
places a $30+ order through Monday night.
You MUST use the Hostess Code to get this offer.

(And yes, you can order anything you want, it doesn't have
to be the products I showed. :-)  )

Lastly, I am giving away a complete DSP Paper Share form the Holiday Catalog! You will get a piece of every paper in the catalog! To enter, please fill out the Rafflecopter below (United States residents only please.) Thanks everyone!
